Trademark Prosecution
A trademark can be a word, a phrase, an image, a symbol a design or any combination of these items that identify your products or services. It all starts with the filing of a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). After about nine months the application gets reviewed by an Examiner. If there are no conflicting trademarks or obstacles that would pose a problem for the trademark, the Examiner would approve the mark for registration and the trademark will then proceed to publication for third party opposition.
A Step Above Legal Solutions virtual trademark paralegals work closely with its trademark clients and handle a variety of trademark projects from filing to registration.
